Library Card
To Apply For A Library Card:
Library cards are issued to Converse County residents with photo ID that shows their local address (Note: If your photo ID does not include proof of permanent address within the county, please bring a separate proof of address. Examples include a utility bill, rent receipt or bank statement in your name). Children of any age may get a library card with parental consent and signature. A parent/guardian must present their photo ID (and, if needed, proof of local address) at time of card pick up, so please accompany your child to pick up their card. Parents are responsible for any fees associated with their minor child's card and for selection of materials checked out.
Option 1: Apply online
Please fill in the following application(s), then visit either Converse County Library location (in Douglas or Glenrock) within 14 days with your photo ID (and, if needed proof of current local address) to pick up your library card and have your account fully activated.
Option 2: Apply In person
To apply in person, go to front desk at the nearest branch of your Converse County Library with photo ID. (Note: If your photo ID does not include proof of permanent address within the county, please bring a separate proof of address. Examples include a utility bill, rent receipt or bank statement in your name.) Let your Friendly neighborhood librarian know that you would like to apply for a library card and they will gladly assist you in applying.
