Bookflix  A literacy resource for grades PreK-3 that pairs classic fictional video storybooks with related eBooks. Animation, audio and interactive games are designed to reinforce core reading skills. *For access outside the library.

Novelist K-8 Plus NoveList K-8 Plus is especially for younger readers. It has reading recommendations for both fiction and nonfiction, for kids in grades K-8. Use it to find just the right books for every reader.


Miss Humblebee’s Academy
Miss Humblebee’s Academy is an interactive kindergarten-readiness program that introduces children ages three to six to key concepts in math, science, social studies, language and literacy, art, and music. It’s as challenging as it is fun! Offered free to libraries during the COVID-19 crisis.

Britannica - School Includes Fundamentals! for PreK-2

Culturegrams CultureGrams provides country reports that go beyond mere facts and figures to deliver a one-of-a-kind perspective on daily life and culture, including the background, customs, and lifestyles of the world’s people.

Explora Primary School  A general research database designed for students in grades K-5. Incorporates content from Primary Search, MAS Ultra, American Heritage Children’s Dictionary, and Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia.

Kids InfoBits Developed especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5, this database covers a wide variety of topics.

Middle Search Plus Articles from popular, middle school magazines. Find biographies, historical essays, reference books, the Encyclopedia of Animals, an image collection, maps and flags. Articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexile).

National Geographic Kids Reputable, authoritative, and appropriate content that brings children aged 6-14 the world in a way they’ve never seen it before. Fun and substantive, National Geographic Kids will take them on amazing adventures in science, nature, culture, archaeology, and space.
