Summer Reading 2020 officially kicks off on June 1st!
The Summer Reading Challenge helps kids and teens learn all summer long, and is fun for all ages! Starting June 1st you’ll be able to participate in virtual challenges, track your reading, and complete fun activities. Your Converse County Library’s Summer Reading Challenge will happen entirely online this year by facilitating reading logs and activities through the online platform, Beanstack.
Want to easily track your reading from your smartphone or tablet? Be sure to download the Beanstack Tracker app!
Readers of all ages are welcome to participate. Register for the program on Beanstack starting June 1st to keep track of reading activities, earn digital badges, get chances to collect great prizes, and more! Our challenge runs through July 31st, so be sure to join the fun!
Points are earned by logging reading minutes (1 minute = 1 point) and by completing online challenges. Earn virtual badges and add to your point total with the challenge activities (each activity earns 60, 100, or 200 points!)
Grand prizes will be available for all age groups. Kids, teens, and adults who are our "top readers" over the course of the summer will receive our grand prizes!
The more reading and activities you complete, the more chances you have to win!
