What is OverDrive?
Wyoming OverDrive is a free service offered by your Local library that lets you borrow digital content (like ebooks, audiobooks and movies) anytime, anywhere. Every OverDrive collection is slightly different from county to county because each library picks the digital content they want for their users.
All you need to get started with free digital content from your library is a valid library card and to download whichever app onto your device that suits your needs best!

There are two app options available for Overdrive to use with your device, the original OverDrive app and the new Libby app. The Overdrive app has some features that aren't yet available on the Libby app (such as font choices for disabilities, accessibility options and multi-lingual options.) The Overdrive app is also a good option for phones that are too old for the Libby app to work on.

Libby is a new app released by OverDrive. It has the same collection of titles as the OverDrive app - it’s just a different way to access the same digital library collection. Libby is a fast and attractive digital browsing experience.
Libby is compatible with Android and iOS devices. Libby is great if you just want to download a book to your Android or iOS phone or tablet.
OverDrive is the “classic” app, and is compatible with more devices, including Kindle Fire, Macs, PCs, and Windows mobile devices. It also allows for transfer to MP3 players from computers.
Libby is new, and doesn’t yet have all of the features that the OverDrive app does, such as the ability to recommend titles for purchase or certain accessibility features. These will be added to Libby over time.
